These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the FocalAI — Camera Coach application ("App") operated by Uthmann Investments ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
FocalAI is a camera coaching application designed to help photographers. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not misuse the App, attempt to reverse engineer it, or use it in any way that violates applicable laws.
FocalAI Pro is an auto-renewable subscription available at AUD $49.00 per year. A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time. No refund will be provided for the unused portion of a subscription term.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.
New users receive a 7-day free trial with access to all Pro features. After the trial period, continued use of Pro features requires an active FocalAI Pro subscription. Free users retain access to 3 basic shooting scenes and 1 AI coaching question.
The AI coaching feature is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended as photography guidance only. They do not constitute professional advice. We make no warranties about the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated responses for any particular purpose.
The App and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by Uthmann Investments and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uthmann Investments shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
